Eyal
Kaplan, General Partner, The Walden Group of International
Venture Capital Funds
Eyal Kaplan is a General Partner of Walden Israel since joining
the firm in 1994. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice
President of Marketing and Business Development with Geotek
Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOTK) where he was directly
involved in strategic planning, financing and interaction
with the investment community through the building of marketing
channels and the formulation of strategic alliances. Kaplan
was involved in several acquisitions, and played a key role
in helping transform military communications technology for
use in commercial applications. He serves on the Board of
Directors of several portfolio companies in Israel and the
US, and assists Walden's global efforts in choosing telecom
and wireless communication investments.
Farrokh
Billimoria, General Partner, Sprout Group
Farrokh Billimoria joined Sprout as a General Partner in 1999
with over twenty years of experience in the communications
and networking areas. He came to Sprout from Hambrecht &
Quist, where he was a senior equity analyst covering this
sector and was actively involved in H&Q's corporate finance
and venture capital initiatives. He was ranked as an All Star
Analyst in 1998 and 1999 by The Wall Street Journal among
all research analysts covering the Communications and Networking
Sector. Previously, he was an equity analyst at Unterberg
Towbin and held various senior IT management positions with
Bankers Trust and Merck & Co., as well as software-engineering
design and development positions at Timeplex and Graphic Scanning
Corp. Prior to joining Sprout, some of the investments Billimoria
was involved with were Apogee Networks, Nexabit Networks,
Tut Systems and Exodus Communications.
John
Dillon,
President and CEO of Salesforce.com
John Dillon is the President and CEO of Salesforce.com, a
second generation Internet ASP start-up company focused on
business application services. Previously Dillon was interim
President and CEO for Perfecto Technologies. He served as
President and CEO for Hyperion Solutions, the global company
formed through the merger of Arbor Software and Hyperion Software.
Dillon also spent five years with Arbor Software as Vice President
of Sales and then as President and CEO. Earlier in his career,
Dillon was employed at Oracle Corporation in various sales
management capacities, GRiD Systems and at EDS as a Systems
Engineer. He served for five years on active duty in the United
States Navy nuclear submarine service and retired with the
rank of Commander from the Naval Reserve. Dillon currently
serves on several Boards of Directors, including Plumtree
Software and Made2manage.
Pierre
Lamond, co-founder of National Semiconductor, joined
Sequoia Capital in 1981
A partner at Sequoia Capital, Pierre Lamond devotes his eclectic
and wide-ranging expertise to selecting investments in the
fields of semiconductor, communications and software technologies.
He brings years of invaluable experience and knowledge to
Perfecto Technologies, serving as chairman of the board of
myriad corporations including Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS),
Plumtree Software and Redback Networks, to name just a few.
Before joining Sequoia in 1981, Lamond founded and served
as Technical Director of National Semiconductor. He was also
the General Manager of Fairchild's Integrated Circuit Division.
A former president of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists,
he has also held the post of President at Advent, a consumer
electronics company and at Coherent, a manufacturer of lasers.
Frank
Marshall, former VP and General Manager of Cisco Systems
Core Business unit
Frank Marshall is the General Partner of Timark LP, an investment
firm specializing in early stage high tech companies. Having
accrued a remarkable 30 years of business and product development
experience in a diverse set of industries including Military/Aerospace,
Minicomputers, Semiconductors, Supercomputers and Data Networking
Equipment, Marshall brings a wealth of knowledge to Perfecto's
board. He currently serves on the board of directors of several
private companies and two public companies, PMC-Sierra Inc.
and Covad Communications Inc.
