MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. � October 19, 1999 � Perfecto Technologies, a leading developer of innovative eBusiness security software, today announced that Peggy Weigle has joined the company as chief executive officer.  Weigle comes to Perfecto from Hyperion Software, where she served as vice president and general manager of the Performance Management division. With proven leadership skills and an extensive management background, Weigle rounds out Perfecto�s strong senior management team.  As chief executive officer, Weigle�s responsibilities will include driving the overall strategic direction of Perfecto, as well as leading efforts to develop future generations of  eBusiness security software.

Weigle joins Perfecto from Hyperion Solutions, the world leader in analytic application software. As vice president and general manager of Hyperion�s Performance Management division, Weigle established the operating model for running and integrating acquisitions and was responsible for managing all functions of newly acquired subsidiaries. Weigle also served as vice president, worldwide field operations, for Hyperion, where she developed and managed worldwide compensation plans for sales presales and telesales organizations.   Prior to the merger with Hyperion, Weigle was vice president, North America sales, at Arbor Software, where she helped to grow North America annual revenues by 100%.

Other recent additions to Perfecto�s management team include Debra Nordgren, vice president of business development, and Eran Reshef, director of marketing. As vice president of business development, Nordgren will oversee all reseller, system integrator, OEM, ASP, distributors and other partner relationships in the United States and worldwide. Nordgren was previously the director of U.S. business partnerships at Vantive Corporation. She has also held executive positions with Avistar Systems, Interleaf and Oracle.

In his role as director of marketing, Benham will be responsible for all of Perfecto�s marketing initiatives, including product marketing, corporate and product positioning, brand development, analyst and media relations, advertising, collateral and direct marketing.  Benham joins Perfecto from Aurigin Systems. Prior to Aurigin, he served as the director of end user marketing at Symantec, where he was responsible for the marketing of all retail products, including Norton AntiVirus.

Reflecting its impressive early growth, Perfecto will soon relocate its main office to 2901 Tasman Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054.  This move represents over a 400% increase in office space and accommodates a 50% increase in Perfecto�s workforce in only three months.
