John Dillon,
John Dillon joined Navis LLC as CEO in early 2002. For the past two
years, Mr. Dillon served as President and CEO for salesforce.com,
a leading provider of online CRM solutions.
Prior to that, he served as President and CEO for Hyperion Solutions,
the public company formed through the merger of Arbor Software
and Hyperion Software. Hyperion is a leading vendor of enterprise
software for business reporting, analysis, and planning. Mr. Dillon
spent five years with Arbor Software as Vice President of Sales,
and subsequently as President and CEO. Earlier in his career,
Mr. Dillon was employed by Oracle Corporation in various sales
management positions, by GriD Systems in sales management, and initially
at EDS as a Systems Engineer. Mr. Dillon currently serves on several
Boards of Directors, including Plumtree Software.
Tali Aben,
Tali Aben, general partner at Gemini Israel Funds, focuses on Software
and Internet Infrastructure, and represents Gemini on the board of
Verisity (Nasdaq: VRST) and several other private companies. Tali
joined Gemini in 1994 from RadView (NASDAQ:RDVW)where she served as
Marketing Director. Prior to RadView, Tali spent several years at
Mercury Interactive where she established the company's U.S.
Sales and Marketing organization, and at Scitex Corporation and
Aitech Systems. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science
and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University. Tali focuses on investments in
information technology, particularly Internet Software and Enterprise Software.
She is based in California where she manages Gemini's Silicon Valley operation.
Simon Davidson,
Simon focuses on venture investment opportunities in software, with a
particular focus on security. Before joining Fidelity Ventures, Simon
was a Partner with J.P. Morgan Communication Partners L.P.
in New York, where he was responsible for investments in the software
industry. Prior to that, Simon held various Investment Banking positions
within J.P. Morgan & Co., with a predominant focus upon the Telecom
and Technology industries. Simon was also a Senior Consultant in the strategy
practice of Andersen Consulting, based in Melbourne and covered Australia
and Southeast Asia. Simon received a Bachelor of Commerce from the
University of Melbourne.
Bob Finzi,
Bob Finzi joined Sprout Group as a General Partner in May 1991 when
Sprout assumed management of two public venture capital funds originated
by Merrill Lynch. Mr Finzi joined Merrill Lynch Venture Capital, Inc.
in 1984 and became a Partner in 1985. Previously, he was an Associate
with Menlo Ventures and served as a consultant with Andersen
Consulting. Finzi has board seats at several companies including
Captura Software, CrossCommerce.com and NetEffect. He has his
undergraduate degree from Lehigh University, and his MBA from
Harvard Business School where he was also a Baker Scholar and
Loeb Rhoades Fellow.
Rakesh Sood,
Rakesh Sood joined Sprout as a General Partner in January, 2000
with over 18 years of Wall Street and technology industry experience.
Prior to joining Sprout, Rakesh was a Vice President and senior analyst
in the Internet/On-line Software and Services group at Goldman,
Sachs & Co. and headed the E-Commerce sector, with a special
focus on B2B. He joined Goldman from Hambrecht & Quist where he
was a senior technology analyst. While at Hambrecht & Quist, Rakesh
co-founded the Internet franchise and was closely involved with
initial public offerings of UUNET, Netscape and Check Point
Software. Prior to joining H&Q, Rakesh held operating positions
with AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, and Intel. Rakesh received a B.S.
in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology in India, an M.S.
from the State University of New York in New York, and an M.B.A.
from The Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania.
